Homeowners are eligible to participate in the program based on several factors such as the condition of the home, income of the homeowners and a demonstration of challenging circumstances such as disability, illness, or age that prevent them from doing the work themselves.

All able-bodied homeowners are required to work alongside volunteers.  We serve economically challenged households earning less than 80% of area median income.

Currently A Brush with Kindness is a benevolent program.  To qualified homeowners the services will be free of charge.

Homeowners will be asked to provide the following as a part of the application process:

• Proof of Income (such as a Tax Return, Social Security, Disability, Alimony, Child Support, etc.)
• Proof of Homeownership (such as a copy of the deed or property tax receipt)
