Welcome to Volunteer UP. Volunteer UP is a web based system designed specifically for volunteers. This systems makes it easy to register with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. You can sign up for build dates, receive reminders of commitments by e-mail, and maintain contact information.

Here is how to sign up with Volunteer UP:

If you are an Individual volunteer, first create a user name and password. You will only have to register once. If you forget your password, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

Please complete the entire form, including e-mail address and construction skills rating.
Select "Crew Member" as your team role, unless you are an ongoing member of our skilled construction leader team.
You can schedule one or multiple volunteer dates on a construction site according to the availability of our calendar.
If you have any problems, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

To register a Group, please complete the Group Registration Form and we will contact you to schedule a volunteer day.

Just a few things to keep in mind:

Volunteers ages 16 and 17 are welcome to build with us, but are required to bring a Minor’s Release and Waiver of Liability Form, signed by a parent or legal guardian, on their first build day.
Volunteers ages 14 through 17 are welcome to work with us in the Home Improvement Store, but are required to bring a Minor’s Release and Waiver of Liability Form, signed by a parent or legal guardian, on their first day of work.
We recommend new volunteers attend one of our Volunteer Orientations to learn more about Habitat for Humanity.
All volunteers are required to bring the Emergency Medical Form, Minor’s Release and Waiver of Liability Form (if applicable), and the Work Crew Safety Form each time you build at a new build site.
