AmeriCorps
Program
We
are currently recruiting for the following
positions:
- Construction
Crew Leader
- Volunteer
Coordinator
- Youth
Programs Coordinator
In
order to better serve our community and
families, AmeriCorps members are chosen from
across the nation to commit to one year of
service in assisting volunteers, partner
families, and community organizations towards
the construction of homes. We are entering
our ninth year of partnership with AmeriCorps
and the Corporation for National and Community
Service. At HFH GLA, AmeriCorps members
play an essential role in uniting, advocating
and transforming the lives of families and
individuals we serve. Our program allows
members to serve their community, learn new
things, make new friends, and have fun!
Our
mission in conjunction with AmeriCorps is:
- to
provide low-income families with affordable
housing
- to
promote the wellness of the community and
the Nation
- to
provide a setting for growth and development
for AmeriCorps members
